Meet Dr. Lakshmi Gorugantula

Lakshmi Mitreyi Gorugantula, BDS, MS, MSD, is an oral medicine specialist and an Oral Radiologist. She graduated with a dental degree from India. After moving to Dallas, she went to Baylor College of Dentistry for a Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences. Subsequently, she went to University of Washington School of Dentistry and completed a Master’s of Science in Dentistry in Oral Medicine and a certificate in Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology programs. 

Dr. Gorugantula’s practice includes diagnosis and non-surgical treatment of TMJ problems, muscle and nerve pain in the head and neck region, infections in the mouth, oral ulcers, auto-immune conditions, dry mouth, burning mouth disorder, snoring and sleep apnea. She also has expertise in evaluating different dental radiographic modalities, cone-beam CT, head & neck CT and TMJ evaluation using MRI.
